I currently have Microsoft Office 2008 installed on my MacBook that I bought in October. I just purchased a MacBook Pro, and I want to put Microsoft Office on my new laptop. Would it be possible to use the same license key? Or would I have to buy another copy of Microsoft Office. Or can I just copy all the files over on a USB drive and use the software on both computers at the same time. Thanks in advance for the replies and responses.

You can just backup with time machine to an external and then restore from the drive on your new computer, and all your apps and content will be magically on the new computer. 🙂

Each copy of MS Office '08 comes with 3 license keys printed right on the back of the box. You can install it on up to 3 machines.
