As much as I like the Benks, I couldn't deal with the draining battery. I bought this walnut wireless charging stand of Etsy. It's literally perfect! Basically the same principle as the (not yet released) crowdfunded The Max Stand.
Nice-looking stand! However, I haven't experienced any battery drain using the Benks stand. Maybe it's because I hang the AirPods Max with the ear cups folded outward on the stand (as can be seen in the picture I posted earlier in this thread)?
How much did you all pay for the Benks stand?

Paid £18.91 including shipping to the UK, that did include a 10% discount found online. Around $36 AUD on todays exchange rate.
Awesome, I'm not in a rush so don't mind the wait as long as the quality is as everyone says, I ordered the white model.
I'm really happy with mine, I ordered another one in black.
The last update on the Floating Pixel stand was a couple of weeks ago, they've only got the molds ready. Can't see it being this year.

edit, I messaged him on Etsy, very nice. I ordered one. 150 bucks, but whatever. I asked him to make it black as possible, so paid the highest price

Question, when you are using them and you put them down on the dock, and you are still using computer, does it say "AirPods are nearby connect to them"? or will it just be asleep, since its off your head. on my laptop just now when I set them on head, it auto connects, and when I set them down, it disconnects and doesnt try. just curious if it will keep popping up messages since docked and such.

Just found the below stand on Amazon had a gift voucher so thought why the hell not, had the Benks stand for a year and love it for style and was tempted towards the new version with the wireless charger in the base but it still didn't get round the only real problem I had which was fiddling about plugging them in for charging.
The stand below gets rid of that issue, there's a small magnetic adapter you plug into the lighting port and when your not using them you just drop them on the charger and away they go, admittedly its no where near as quick as a wired charge but between calls and overnight it works just fine!

Interesting find. I love my Benks stand, but this one is tempting.
Could you post a picture of how the Max looks with the charger dongle plugged in?
Also, the close-up photograph of the stand looks like it might be made of that rubberized material (and not really "high-quality silicon" as the product description states) to which dust easily sticks. Is that correct?

I already had two Banks stands, one black one white depending on where I left them, but liked the idea of the charging base update for my AirPod Pros so got it.
I have a right-angled black cable placed behind the sideboard to charge the APM. Great combo I think.
