With the purchase of my space grey iPhone 11 Pro Max, I have become a collector of official Apple cases, and I wanted to give my opinions on the different cases that I own.
These opinions are on their looks. Aspects like wear and tear, open bottom, etc, have not been covered, as I’m sure most readers of this forum knows about those pros and cons already.

To make it easier, I’ll divide my post in leather cases and silicone cases.

Leather:

Black:
This is probably THE ultimate classic case for the grey iPhone. Though this year’s case isn’t quite as black as earlier years (it looks more like a dark storm grey color), it’s still a perfect companion to the phone.
The look is timeless, classic and businesslike. It won’t stick out in a crowd, but you will keep looking at it and just think, “oh my, this looks great”.

Saddle brown:
Always a favorite for fans of Apple cases, for the beautiful patina it develops over time, this is a gorgeous case. It may look a little bright out of the box, but give it some time, and it will darken, and develop a beautiful look. This case will look just as good out in the forest as in a business meeting.
One of the first cases you should buy for your phone.

Midnight green:
Probably aimed at those who bought the midnight green phone, but it also looks great with the space grey phone.
If you don’t want a green phone, but still want to wear that trendy green color, this is perfect for you.
It hasn’t changed its color much since day one, but that is not to say that it’s a bad thing.
It goes great with the iPhone’s dark theme.

Midnight blue:
When I first got this one, I wasn’t quite sure what to think of the color. But, after some time, it has darkened some, and now looks beautiful - especially in dimly lit rooms. The blue tint makes it less “hard” than the black case, and gives this case a great look. It has now become one if my favorite cases.

Meyer Lemon:
This is by far the brightest leather case, and its striking, bright yellow color, makes it stand out from the crowd.
It looks great with the black camera cutout, and is perfect for bright sunny days.
I wear this with caution as I’m afraid it might stain and turn dirty from being in my jeans pants all day. But whenever I put it on, I still get the same “wow feeling” that I got the first time I put it on.

Product red:
This might actually be my least favorite leather case.
It looks great, but the dark red color is not for me. This is of course subjective and others might love it.
Still, it might be a nice “Christmas case” and red and black goes great together (it’s just that I prefer the brighter silicone case).
Silicone:

Black:
Almost more storm grey than the black leather case, it’s almost wrong to label this case as black.
It looks good with the space grey phone, but dust and debris from the pockets are too visible on this case for my liking. This is the silicone case that has spent the least time on my phone.

Forest green:
From my least favorite to one of my most favorite cases.
This green is gorgeous. It’s brighter than the midnight green leather case, but looks fantastic on the phone, with the black camera cutout.
If you should buy only one silicone case, it would be hard not to recommend this one.

Midnight blue:
This is also a nice blue color, though not as “alive” as its leather counterpart (due to the different materials of course).
It goes great with the midnight blue sport band for the Apple Watch, and is well worth a look.

Alaskan blue:
A lot brighter than the midnight blue case, I’m still not quite sure what I think of it. It almost looks like a “feminine blue”, and I imagine that it would look better on a silver iPhone.

Product red:
Along with the forest green, this is my favorite silicone case, and it looks absolutely wonderful on the black phone.
It will stand out in a crowd, and is not anonymous in any way, but I just love it.

Bonus - clear case:
If you want to show off your phone’s color, the clear case is Apple’s only choice.
It’s crystal clear and just as great-fitting as the other cases.
Unfortunately, it’s going to scratch and show off fingerprints. But, that’s pretty much true for all clear cases.
It also takes away the frosted look of the phone, and makes it appear glossy.
The third negative is that it’s quite slippery.
But, if you can live with that, it’s a good clear case, and I put it on quite frequently.

So, there you have it - my opinions on the cases that I own.
What Apple cases do you own, and what are your favorite(s)?

None tomorrow, returning black leather.
Not enough protection
Sides not level, so lip is different height
Flanges out on bottom sides
Dint in back

Not worth the $79 here for 1 imo, never lone 11.

Every time, with every new iPhone since 6, I pick up both Red Product, leather and silicone. And every time I’m not able to select which one I prefere 😅

Regarding the midnight blue leather case: I have had mine for about a week .... it seems a bit slippery and I'm wondering if it will roughen up a bit after some use? I've almost dropped my max a couple of times.

I had a Mujjo and Bullstrap leather cases for my Xr and both had a good grip from the first use. I'm not wild about the color choices though.

Mujjo is a much more grippier leather, i found it too sticky though. Apple black leather seems to be the only one with good grip straight up.

I agree that the midnight blue leather case feels a little slippery, and so far it hasn't become any grippier. It could, of course, be because I change cases almost daily, and it hasn't been worn in properly yet. The saddle brown was also quite slippery out of the box, but as it has spent a lot of time on my phone, it's now a lot more grippier (and darker). The black is the "grippiest" from the start.
Btw, thanks for your feedback and replies to my post.

Are the Midnight Green cases more green than the phone? Disappointed the phone almost always looks gray except when it is darker in the room.

Definitely silicone. It’s hard for me to use another case now cause i just love how the silicone feels in the hand.
