So...on Amazon I'm seeing some heavily-reduced (and current) Apple software -- by third parties on Amazon. Like...stuff you'd download in the app store...but sold on USB drives and stuff...

Is...this on the up-and-up???
Not a chance. Apple doesn't sell its own apps from the App Store through third parties.

That doesn't look too kosher. The old adage applies. If if its too good to be true, then it probably is.

It is just too cheap and too fishy. I am surprised that Amazon even allows them to be a 3rd party seller. The feedback page on Amazon's seller profile shows 5 reviews, all dated after Feb 28,2017, which i would say is a caution.
[doublepost=1489093772][/doublepost]The seller looks to be of dubious legality. One of the products is a macOS bootable installer with multiple versions of the OS (El Capitan, Sierra, Mavericks, etc) which I have never heard of Apple selling.
