How likely is it for an official Apple Store to come to New Zealand? I know there aren't many people here, but Apple products are getting increasingly popular. There's quite a few 3rd party retailers here, so what are the chances of the official stores coming into the country?

Probably a while. The website and 3rd party stores meet the needs of Apple here, it's not economical to open a store just to have one.

I'm surprised they don't have one in Christchurch. You would think they would try to at least put one in most big cities around the world. I take for granted living 15 minutes from an Apple store.

I reckon they should put an Apple store in each of the main urban centres in NZ: One in Auckland, one in Wellington and one in Christchurch.

It's interesting to me that in most countries that have apple stores, they only put them in major cities. Whereas in the US we have a lot of them in random towns far outside of cities. My town is 45 minutes outside of NYC and i have one very close to my house.

They should spread them around the world a bit more.

It's just Magnummac moving from Vivian Street around the corner to Kent Tce and using the rebrand of Yoobee as far as I can see.

Dammit... Well, hopefully it will be bigger and have the feel of a real Apple store :)

Sounds good, now all they have to do is put it in the right city (Auckland) :)

Nah man, Wellington FTW
