If you have to have a right click feature on your laptop then get a PC because is is not on Apple laptops. Your problem is solved. How easy was that?

There is a reason why Apple does things the way it does; if you just can not fit in to that philosophy then don't. Nothing to fret about.

Erm, right-clicking is just as important as left-clicking. I remember the days where you had to hold down the mouse button to get the equivalent of the right-click menu. What a waste of time that was.

Yah what was that the infamouse 1sec rule? Hold down, wait, then WOW lookie there, a hidden menu.

There was quick click, then there was click............. BOOM! Unbelievable! Pretty cool huh? Wouldn't it be great? (did I miss any?)

As our British friends would say, "Get Stuffed."

agreed...get over it people! i switched from PC and now i hate using their labtops because i forget which one does which!! do a two finger click or get an external mouse...one button looks way more elegant anyways!

With the two finger right click Apple really solved this problem I think. Ctrl + click was very annoying but I managed to live with it.

Just because Apple has a certain 'philospohy' of doing things doesn't mean we as consumers should sit down and be spoonfed. There's good usability and bad, sometimes Apple hit right and sometimes they make compromises.

As for the OP though, he's really made some horribly flawed arguments as to what his primary intentions with this thread were.

i really enjoy the single button. I dont have to look down and make sure i'm pressing the right one...with the single button trackpad i know i'm pressing the right one.

your middle finger is right next to your index. Put it down, and do an alternate click. Its not that hard. People these days just wanting to complain for the sake of it.
