Realtor. That's REAL-tor. Not real-TERR, certainly not Real-a-ter.

But no matter how you say it, it's a good business to be in if you know what you're doing. Or at least, that's what I'm told by those who know what they are doing. ;)

Wow. I posted in this thread back in 2006 when I was in Real Estate. That hasn't been true in years.

I am now much happier in my position as a PC Tech and a local computer shop in my area. I even occasionally get to work on Macs! :D

Jun 10, 2010:
Update: I am now even happier than before, working at a local wireless ISP. I am doing system and network administration in two buildings, as well as helping managing a large wireless network spanning multiple tower sites all over the county. We basically provide an alternative to cable and DSL, as well as a better choice for those in the boonies stuck using dial-up or satellite. :)

I like this thread. It's fun to come back months, or even years later, and look at how things have changed since your last post. Hopefully things are changing (for the better) for everyone else! :D
...and tomorrow is my last day at the job above. It has been a long journey, but Monday I start a new job as a Linux System Administrator for a hosting company near Detroit. It will be a major challenge, but a great learning experience and a nice change of pace.

Wish me luck! :)

I run my own manufacturing company. We do LDPE/CPP Plastic mostly. I convert and print the plastic as well I have my AZ License so I do all the picking up and delivering of shipments. I stay busy.
