official magnetic case, forward compatible? (on ipad 3)

Does anyone know if I keep my magnetic cover from the iPad 2 (apple's OEM ones), will it work on the ipad 3?

Yes will still work, its only the thickness of it thats changed and only by 0.6mm
So the front will be the same and hence the smart covers will do the same job 🙂

I searched "magnetic", searched topics only, and sorted by most recent. First 2 pages nada. Cheers ^_^

Yes, that's a better link. Combine that with a Marware micro shell for the back and you'll have decent front and back protection!
