This was something i was worrying about, but now i have a touch, i actually prefer vertical keyboard, to me is faster with the smaller distance between keys.

this is somewhat true except for when you are in a moving vehicle. Then its not as good.

Please please please please please give us a horizontal keyboard for text and email

something with big buttons would be good. My fingers are quite dainty, and I still am constantly pressing the wrong letter.

Welcome to MacRumors... Thanks for reviving an old thread. You have heard about iPhone OS 3.0, right? And the fact that is will have horizontal keyboards for all the main apps? 🙂
