On the technical specifications page for Snow Leopard (http://www.apple.com/macosx/specs.html), it says:

General requirements

Mac computer with an Intel processor
1GB of memory
5GB of free disk space
DVD drive for installation
Some features require a compatible Internet service provider; fees may apply.
Some features require Apple’s MobileMe service; fees and terms apply.

It's interesting how they did not say "Apple Computer with an Intel processor". Mac is just the operating system, isn't it? Why wouldn't they put Apple computer?

Looks clear to me as Mac is the computer hence the names MacBook, MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, and iMac.

Ah, I see lol. I didn't check earlier on requirements for the previous systems, but now I know they used the term Mac too.
