No thanks. I have Beejive. Besides, I am sure the app is going to be just like the desktop version and have stupid ads. Aim, MSN, Yahoo all have ads. No thanks.

holy crap this is amazing!!! MSN MESSENGER on the iphone!!! wow almost 4 years in development!! Like why would I use an all-in-one messenger like IM+, Beejive or ebuddy for every messenger in one, when I can now dowload them all seperately and launch them as different seperate programs !!!!

YEAY MICROSOFT!!!! 4 years too late!

MS made yet another worthless app.

With the over-saturated market of IM apps out there, what's the point of making an "official" Live app?

On a side note, people still use MSN?

"3HK brings you the first Microsoft authorized Windows Live Messenger for iPhone."

So, is this one they are offering not the real app?

Has Microsoft made ANYTHING for the App store?

They probably just had someone do it for them cause they don't wanna be part of it.

And to the people that said use Beejive, why am I going to spend $10 on it? Honestly, I've used it and it's nothing special... everyone's hyping up this app over nothing.

Beejive is not hype. It's the BEST IM app out there. Period. I bet if it was free you would be all over it like white on rice. However, since you actually have to PAY for it, it's not worth it.

I got beejive for 5 bucks when it was on sale and I love it. Honestly though if google came out with a gtalk app with push I would probably dump it. They made one for bb a long time ago. Not sure why they don't do it for the iPhone instead of just the web version. Oh well though. No complaints on beejive. Works flawlessly.

someone's in denial...

no it's not the best IM app, in fact.. none of the IM apps are good. they all suck

actually, i did get it for free and, like i said, it's nothing special.

Well, there we have it ladies and gentlemen! The DEFINITIVE answer to every IM app made. They all suck.

Thank you for that earth shattering piece of information. I'll be sure to file it under WGAF! ;)

Good for you. Are you mad that I have an opinion?

I agree that Beejive is over hyped.. It really doesn't do any thing special.. Definatly not worth the price (IMO). There are free apps that achive the same result, why pay for beejive?

Of all the IM apps I used, I liked IM+ the best. It is not as pretty as Beejive, but I found it the most usable. Plus the built in browser was nice to have :D
