Really? Because there are 3 model designations, but I guess ignoring history and fact is commonplace around here.

It is also very much history and fact that Apple has never before released more than one model of iPhone at a time. Why is it any better to ignore that history than to ignore a passing reference to a model number within a beta OS?

Because one seems more likely than the other. Random references to phones that never exist is not probable.

And I'm not saying they will release all 3 at once. We may see one in June, and 2 in the fall for the Christmas season.

It seems more likely to you, perhaps; it does not seem more likely to me. My issue is that you are stating your opinions as fact. However convinced you may be, the fact is that the existence of different model numbers is not proof that three new iPhone models will be released.

The only fact in this entire thread is that there are 3 models revealed in the code.

This entire thread is conjecture. It makes sense to extrapolate 3 models in the code into 3 models you would guess would be rolled out.

Edit: It's how we've determined past Apple models.

I would be completely satisfied with a 16GB 4G/HD iPhone. I have a 16GB 3GS and still have 13GB free on it so 16 is just fine.

I'd like to see an iPhone nano. Take an iPod nano, swap out the screen for a bigger touchscreen, sell it for $79. No apps, no wifi, just a phone + iPod.

My Razr sucks, but there are no phones out there with decent UIs that are not basic and data plan-free. I don't want to pay nor do I have a need for a data plan.
