Hi all,
I'm visiting Paris for 3 days soon and I've been looking for an offline maps app, I've done a little searching but I haven't found anything so far that appeals to me.

I'm looking for it to be current (I purchased one - searched for the hotel and it looks completely different to the search on google maps)

Preferable be able to show my current location and give directions to where I want to be headed.

Any reccomendations?

Citymaps2Go is great! Detailed maps, A LOT POI's and GPS.

Also Tripadvisor's offline guide is a must. It also shows which stations are close to attractions, restaurants etc. And you have reviews with you.

one more vote for CityMaps2Go. Not sure about availability for Paris but i have used them in New York City and Washington DC and they were spot on most of the times.

Hi Freeman)

I use MapsWithMe Pro on my iPhone 4S all the time when travelling around Europe.
I'm a geek actually)
This app works perfect and offline search is very useful!
