Love instapaper but I am curious if offline Reading List in iOS 6 has one killer feature... Does reading list PUSH content to all your devices without opening Safari?

For example if I cache an article on my Mac does my iPad in the other room download the article to Reading list with no action on my part, or only when I open reading list on the iPad? Since I have a wifi only iPad I find myself forgetting to open instapaper and "download" all my articles I saved on my Mac before I leave the house which often defeats the purpose of the app for me. Instapaper sadly (due to apple restrictions) only has slightly helpful work arounds that don't work for my user model and I am hoping for something more along the way iCloud updates cal, contacts etc. in real time.

So... Does offline reading list update in real time to all devices even with safari closed and the device off?

Thanks!

I think it does in iOS6. I noticed the other day after adding something from safari on Mac when I opened safari on my iPhone and went to Reading List I saw the websites there already. If I recall in iOS5 they loaded once you opened safari.
