I love how during the winter the United States was experiencing hot weather according to the media. Now we just had a harsh winter?

I know we had a harsh winter where I live but I swear everytime I read the news anywhere, they were having warmer than usual.

I just find this stuff interesting.

Why can't winter have been warm and harsh? in most of the places where corn is grown in the US a "warm winter" consists of temperatures in the 20s instead of the single digits. That doesn't mean that snowstorms, blizzards, etc. didn't still take their toll.
