I think that happened to me once and it ended up being an issue with the carrier.

I'm flabbergasted gasted, the call was routed to corporate and they said that there is something wrong with my order, since it is not processing... They asked me why the shipping name is different from my billing ( my brother is going to be at home to sign for it so I out it in his name).... He said I should get a email in the next few minutes to see if it has been resolve, and he kept apologizing... I also told him that it is my not my problem because, I told my CC company of the charge already and it's all good to go from their end..

I have to wait for his email update, for some reason he said my order is stuck at payment processesing... But my CC shows the $1 pending charge though .

You do realie you could've just used your name, anyone can sign for a package in your household, sounds like you might have created you own issue?

I pre-ordered a 6+ today at a Verizon store and their system was borked. The rep had to hit the "continue" button repeatedly for almost 10 minutes just to get the order through. Finally got a confirm but it was an arduous process fought with uncertainty.

He said we can all expect the 6+ orders to take until Halloween for delivery. As it stands, the 6+'s won't be delivered until OCTOBER 21st. We should expect even that date to get pushed, which blows.

Ok, the rep said everything looks fine now, the was an error with the credit card processing... So I had to call my CC and explain the situation to the and they gave me a approval code to give the apple rep to push the charge through.... So for some reason apple system is really messed up.. Because when I call my CC they said the charge has already been approved and in pending already.....

So for all you people make sure to check your email to see if they give a phone number to call a apple rep... I think the issues was due to the website being down and I happen to ordered at like 5est when the site came right back up. Also when I was checking order status the page will always be messed up... Dunno if it had something to do with that too..

You have me a little worried right now. I ordered a 6+ through the Apple site but it is for AT&T. The billing address is my husbands name because it is his card, but the ships to is my name because I am the account holder with AT&T, and we have different last names. Hope everything goes well. It still says everything is ok through Apple's order detail page and I have not received any emails from Apple or AT&T yet. I could edit the billed to name but it says I have to call Apple to do that,
