    sorry for asking but what's the older adapter vs the newer one? aren't they both with the magnet?:confused:

    Yeah. When you buy a stock configuration, it could have been assembled weeks ago and shipped from a warehouse. When you order a CTO, you know that they aren't packing the computer until just before you get your shipping notice. Since my CTO shipped today, I'm looking forward to getting the new smaller adapter.

    Niele it's just the size of it, both are magsafes. The new MBP adapters are the size of the normal MB adapters but still give 85w of juice.
