View attachment 636025 I just had my 2012 MacBook Pro Retina display fixed for the anti coating problem and after a few days I swapped out the battery but had to use rubbing alcohol to get the goo off the battery . Some how I got alcohol underneath the screen . I got a line of dead pixels on the left and the screen is all messed up . Any chance of the alcohol will evaporate ? I think my screen is hooped :(

Not sure how liquid got underneath the screen. I wonder if Apple will let me by on this...

Its very unlikely they will fix that free, you did it yourself, alchohol will have already evaporated it takes seconds it looks like you've ruined the screen.

unfortunately not. Apple doesn't cover damage inflicted by a consumer's negligence. It's a bummer, but that's the case.

I will say, that it couldn't hurt bringing it in and seeing, but the odds are stacked against you

I don't want to rub salt in a wound, but I always remove the display assembly before I attempt to remove the battery from the top case because of this reason.

Anyway, just tell Apple there is something wrong with the display. Apple will determine whether you are eligible for a free replacement or not.
