I was ready to move from mini to 17 pro but where the heck is the black color? I never choose any other color than black for my phones. I guess I am stuck with 13 mini for now then

Same... have loved the raw/natural titanium phones for the last 2 years. Now there is no color I like. (I don' use a case and the as much as I like orange from an EDC perspective or bag interiors, I don't think I can rock an orange phone.) Just doesn't seem professional despite being "Pro." So blue or silver is going to be a tough choice to be honest.

Shocking they got rid of the black. I have black now so I wasn't getting it again but man what a total whiff eliminating the most iconic color.
Agree. The blue did the best job of hiding the rectangle I thought. For those that are not into it. I'm getting used to it I guess.
yeah I am bummed. I might hold on the upgrade until next year then. That blue is just horrible and its definitely not black enough.
why are we excusing this? they literally deleted a SKU lol. deep blue is not "black enough" its much worse than midnight, which i also hated.

I'm surprised people actually buy black. Makes it look like one solid monolithic block. It's also the color that usually goes on sale first.
That’s exactly why I always buy black. We are where we are though so I’ll just get the blue one. In the list of life’s problems needing to switch from black to blue when I upgrade isn’t high on my list.
I would bet money space black was Apple's top seller (based on no data whatsoever). Every iPhone I've bought was space black. Most (99%?) folks use a case and phone color doesn't really matter. I do not. I guess I'm considering silver with a black techwoven case.
Oh man. Look at the top of the Pros. Seems they needed a new spot for the mmWave antenna cutout.
It's incredibly odd that they moved this out of the Camera Control button - it appears to still be there on the 17 regular (which still supports mmWave and does NOT have an additional cutout for it).
I guess it's not in the worst spot, but man... that's ugly.

It's actually kind of hilarious that they didn't do black on the Pro but did on the Air.

Maybe it's a strategy to push people to try the Air for some unknown reason.
On top of the missing black Color, the new 2 tone design isn’t looking very good IMO. I much prefer my 16 PM design.
People who buy black iPhones are not surprised that you are surprised.
I think the “there’s no Black” crowd are being a bit silly. We’ve had weird greys and near blacks before, and the new “Blue” looks close to iPhone 5 Slate. It will look cool Black in most scenarios:
