I use a proclip in my car, so my iPhone 6s Plus sits a bit to my right, and (unfortunately) has a bit of an angle to my eyes. Imagine you're holding the phone slightly rotated away from your face, and holding it to the side.....

Anyways, I've noticed that when the light of the sun hits the face of the phone I get an oil-slick rainbow effect.

Looking straight on eliminates the rainbow effect.

Anyone else notice this?

Is your device covered with any screen protector? Low quality screen protectors are known to have this rainbow effect

It's an oil-slick look -- totally different than my 6 Plus.

I'll see if I can get a photo of it tomorrow when the sun is up.

None in my screen and I know what you're describing. Perhaps oily screen? Try cleaning it and then see.
