Why include the EarPods in every box? Because they’re cheap!!
I have a collection of “new” EarPods
One day ( in the far future, more than likely), if Apple is still around, I’m sure the cost to manufacture cheap wireless buds will allow them to be included, perhaps?!

That isn't happening.
Apple is Apple.
Apple has always been Apple.
Apple has always charged a price they deem their product is worth.
You always have the choice.
Once you accept and understand that, the frustration starts subsiding.
High expectations will always let you down and upset or frustrate you, whether those expectations are with a person, a company or a product.
In a few years from now, the new iPhone will start at $2,000 and not include a lightning port or earbuds, and will instead need to buy a wireless charger + wireless earbuds separately.
But at least the front facing camera and TrueDepth censor will be hidden under the screen.

Was thinking price of the phone would decrease over time (especially one of its most expensive parts - the OLED screen), along with other parts.
& together with the massive uptake of Airpods, then they'd sqeeze them in, being the generous company Apple are.
Possibly should've gone with 2029 instead.

Probably the ones that already have them and really makes no difference to them.
Sure apple should give everyone free apple watches too. Smh.
Some of you are confusing a business with a charity.
But seriously probably capacity constraints they can’t manufacture enough of them. But even if they did why should they? Most would just sell it on eBay like they did with the white 3.5mm headphones back in the day.
And for the rest, after about 2 years on the market they either all have AirPods, other Bluetooth headphones, or are comfortable with a dongle or lighting based headphones.
At this point it’s a non issue.
Hate the Airpods. Fall out of my ears incessantly.

Another interesting point is the ‘dongle’ is the most bought product in Apples entire product range. At £10 a pop it’s making them hundreds of millions.
Its Not a practical idea for Apple to ‘include’ the AirPods in the box. Even if they did, you do realize that the consumer would be paying for it someway or another? I think they should be a separate Purchase, because maybe not everybody is interested in the AirPods or they have their choice of what they want to use for wireless Bluetooth headphones.
{ On a sidenote: I own the AirPods And they are very good at what they do, decent audio, but the integrate very well with the iPhone and the features are seamless. And I also want to add that I think they are competitively priced for the technology included. }

Probably because most people are realistic when looking at this and know there is exactly zero chance of it ever happening. Does voting 'yes' make you feel better even though you know it will never happen?
I know like anybody else here that Apple won’t include AirPods but the question of the poll is: ‘Should Apple include AirPods with 2019 iPhones?’....
As a consumer my answer to that is ‘yes’. It’s my opinion and something I’d like to see. If someone asked me if I ‘would like to see an outright cure to all cancers in 2019?’ I would also say ‘yes’. I won’t say ‘no’ because I know it most likely won’t happen because that’s being dishonest IMO.
If this was about feeling better then nobody would even be contributing to this thread....
I guess the poll should have been: Should AirPods, Fast charging wireless charger, a case and AppleCare+ be included with the 2019 iPhones. I mean, if you're gonna dream, might as well dream big.
