I just got so sick and tired of this 6+ Bugging out on me. Screen going inactive. Going upside down and sticking. Sticking in landscape.

Crashing.

UGH!

Let me know how it goes, I too sometimes have these problems. Usually when I am using safari/mercury I cant click back on the arrows. and Messages stay in landscape mode and wont switch unless I close and reopen...

I've had all of that on my 6+ from new. 8.1.2 made it a heck of a lot better...but it still does it.

My phone showed out in the store. The springboard got stuck upside down twice and in landscape once. The only thing it didn't do is go unresponsive. The guy was like your springboard and dashboard appear to have issues that a reset should fix.

Ugh!

I was like I've reset this thing already and it keeps happening. I shouldn't have to reset it all the time. I asked if his diagnostics would tell if it is a hardware issue. He said no. I told him that I can't keep running out there to deal with this.

So he replaced the device.

My 6+ 128 was one of those manufactured early on. I picked it up on launch day. I just think it had issues

We will see how it goes but there appears to be little differences.

The home button has more 'click'
The device does seem a little quicker.

Anyone know what parts they replace on refurbs?

The part that was broken ☺️

What could be the cause of the springboard getting stuck and going unresponsive all the time?

What about the rotation issues? Any ideas?

is the replacement doing it too?
There are theories that the NAND flash could be causing the springboard crashes, if it is TLC, and of course bugs in the iOS software itself. The rotation issues are almost certain to be software because many people suffer from the problem.
I also suffer with the occasional non-responsive touchscreen and screen freezing on my 64GB 6+ (with TLC).

Apples tight lipped on specifics but refurbs are great.

No the refurb appears fine. I'm still trying to get all my stuff loaded.

I don't want to sync with my computer because every time I do lately things get fouled up. So, I'll do it tonight and nurse th process while I watch Arrow!
