Mac, iPad, iPhone WiFi to an Airport Express, male 3.5 mm optical cable by male toslink to a DAC, RCA's to 2 channel stereo. Works flawlessly.... Today I bought an Apple TV to replace the Airport Express. Apple tech says to add the ATV in lieu of replacing the APE? I haven't hooked it up yet, but started thinking about this, I would have to connect iTunes to the APE for 2 channel stereo, then connect iTunes to the ATV for the video (mirroring device) is this possible?? Or do I just take out the APE....

Please advise!

Thanks,
RonW.

What are you trying to accomplish? If everything is working for you, why are you trying to change it?

The Apple TV and the Airport Express are completely different products for completely different purposes. Why are you wanting an Apple TV to "replace" an Airport Express?
