Ok, how much do you LOVE your leather link?

My favorite bands have been my original leather buckle bands. I have the black and brown, and I wear one of them almost all the time. I’m trying to decide if I want to spring for a leather link. How do these feel compared to a regular leather band? Do they stay on really well? Looking for overall impressions before I buy.

I have the Golden Brown and it is nice. The magnets are strong so they stay really well.

I'm in love with my leather link band. I just wish Apple would introduce more colors. I have the midnight currently from Apple and missed-out with ordering the Black leather link from Amazon. I also like the new leather link bands over the original.

The leather is soft, the magnets provide a strong connection, and it's easy to adjust the band throughout the day if needed.

I was at the Apple store last week to buy a solo lop and while I was waiting I checked out the leather link bands. I played tug of war with one of them, trying to slide it apart. If there were at least 5-6 links overlapping then there was definitely a good amount of hold. Less than 5-6 links and the ends pulled apart fairly easily.

Bottom line: I liked the leather link enough to put the sequoia green on my Christmas list.

Trying to figure out a color is gonna be my next issue. The green would look REALLY good with my Starlight watch, but I just don't know how much it'll go with. The black is practical, but I have the original black leather band from Apple, so I really don't want another black leather. The dark cherry is so pretty with the Starlight, but definitely a color I would not get much use out of.

Not sure about the midnight - can't tell if it's more blue or black.

I don't care for the brown they have right now either - the saddle brown was the perfect brown for me.

I am curious to see what I think about it myself, but anxious to check it out. I mainly like that there is no metal showing, so the bands will look nice with whatever color watch.

Leather band newbie here. So far I’m loving it 😍 its way more comfortable than I expected. I went to the store to try them personally before purchasing and I liked them all! Particularly this Golden Brown and Id like a Dark Cherry later on

Well, mine arrived yesterday, and I think I can officially say I want one in almost every color! I’m curious to see how it’ll be with a full days’ wear, but my initial impression is definitely positive.

I’ll absolutely be searching for a saddle brown.

Thoughts on magnet pills supposedly getting imprinted on the skin for a while? I personally think it would happen only if the band was worn a little too tight.

I noticed that a little bit after wearing it more snugly for the entire day, but typically I wear my watch a little on the looser side, and tighten it more only when it needs to be snug.

I really do like the dark cherry - just not sure how much use I'd get out of it, though I love the color. I got the sequoia green, and have a midnight due to arrive tomorrow. I'm anxious to see that in person to see just how much use I think I'll get out of it.

I also ordered my first solo loop to try - I don't typically like how the sport loops feel on my arm, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I've been spending a bit too much time shopping online lately. ;-p

I’v always been too cheap to buy original bands with my series 3, but now with my Midnight S7 I decided to buy a Midnight leather link. 4 months later and now I have Golden brown, Baltic Blue and Chalk as well. Absolutely love them!

Have a question about the Golden Brown strap, does the color start to darken once it gets more exposed to the sun? I love when the brown starts getting that darker patina.
I never saw the Golden Brown in person when it got delivered to me yesterday, I was a bit disappointed with the brighter than usual brown color.

I’ve been wearing mine for a little over two months now and it looks very similar to when it was new. I can detect bit of wear in the underside area. Where the wrist meets a desk when typing. But so far it’s very slight to call in a patina
