Ok, I screwed up and paid full price - But how to log in?

    What an idiot I am !!!! :D

    I signed up for the trial for Mobile Me, never used it once, and sort of lost track of the days and also had way too much email to wade through.

    Came to sort out my email the other day and found a Thankyou for your payment to mobile me.

    I must admit, I thought the trial was longer, but hey, It's my fault and I've paid full price for a year.

    What a dummy !!! :p

    Anyway, as I've got a years sub now, I guess I should at least use it for something. Problem is I can't log in and I'm not sure what info I need to log in.

    I can't remember what I did when I signed up for the free trial.

    It asks for my Apple ID (which I assume is my iTunes ID/Name) and my password

    I type in my iTunes id (it then puts a @me.com after I type my name) and when I enter in my iTunes password it says wrong password.

    Are these the correct bits of info I'm putting in?

    I can log into my iTunes account with this name/password combination.
    Or might I have been prompted to input different info when I set up my trial Mobile Me account?

    Thanks for the reply, I was beginning to give up!

    Well, that's part of my question really. Would my mobile me password be different to my iTunes/Apple account password, or are they all the same thing?

    Ok, I done the "I forgot my password" option and reset my password

    I went back to the mobileme login and put in my Apple ID and my new password and still won't accept it.

    I loaded up iTunes and with my Apple ID and my new password I logged into my iTunes account fine.

    So I'm thinking it's not the password.

    On the mobile me login page it says "sign in with your Apple ID" and that's where I type my apple ID, the same as the ID I use to log into iTunes with.

    When I type this in, it adds @me.com to the end of my Apple ID.

    I'm confused.

    Fixed it............. :D

    Thanks to previous postings by others also having the same problem

    I needed to reset the password not for "my apple login" name

    But to reset the password for "my apple login name @ me.com" instead.

    Did that and it worked.

    I will ask one question though.

    Do people here use the same password for their mobile me access as they do their normal Apple id, iTunes account ?
