I had a thread regarding my the crazy route of my TiBook. It went from CA, to Hawaii, all the way to Boston. It took 9 days to arrive rather than the scheduled 2.
Here is the situation with the replacement keyboard I ordered. Why does this keep happening? In this case, it took 5 days to go from midstate Eugene, Oregon to Anaheim in southern California (900 miles south). The package currently says it's "In Transit, Delayed"). Note I don't believe my TiBook ever said it was delayed when it went on vacation off-continent. I've verified the shipping information which is correct on this current purchase. I checked the box my TiBook came in and it too has the proper city, state, and zip code.
I live in the Boston metro area. My town has nearly 60,000 residents. There are two subways within 2 minutes of my home. I am not in the middle of nowhere. Next time I need to see if shipping to a different address will improve my luck. If you don't know what a schlemiel is, I am the definition.
