Ok, my macbook just beeped relly loud..wtf...

mine makes a loud beep as well when i plug a video camera in while using imovie. i've been wondering about it myself.

Try repairing permissions (in disk utility)

I can make my MBP beep on demand. If you close the lid and flip it face dowm quickly it will beep pretty loud. I gather this is the feature that "Parks" your hard drive so it dosen't get damaged. Wouldn't recomend trying this it could potentially hurt your machine. Just some random fyi.😎

I think it's not a beep, it's either the hard drive or the cd drive that makes a noise when you start it up. It's normal.
