it might help if you explain what you are trying to do....I honestly can't understand what you are trying to ask.
ok, so you downloaded 'the android'.. - what does this mean? do you mean android the phone operating system? what device did you download it onto?
file transfer - from what to what? what have you plugged your phone into?

Sounds like "Andriod File Transfer Tool"
I know I have it installed on my MBP (because I used it once for someone else to copy media to their device).
I'll try to remember to check when I get home, assuming now one else answers.
I don't remember it being non-intuitive.

you don't need to be a scientist to figure it out.
I do agree a bit with JonnyBlaze that the OP is making it harder to read than it needed to be and thereby less likely to trigger a responce. Splitting between title and body, where he put his comma, would be much more natural and understandeble. Personal though,I prefer that the title is a summation of the content and the body-part of a post is understandable on it's own. Same goes for e-mail etc.really? the title was part of the question.
