Why do I have to wait until the 12th for my black 8gig iPod touch to ship? 😛

Yes I know iOS5 will be out then but gee I can upgrade that myself 😛

That is odd. Is there not a best buy or other major electronics store around? It would cost the same.

There is one place in town that sells iPods but they still have the old pricing, I don't think they will drop it before the 12th. In which case I'd rather order direct from Apple.

Edit: I live in Australia, so we don't have best buy.
