OK to download 8.02 OTA?

I have read other threads but remain confused on this topic. Is there some reason to do the update on iTunes versus just doing over the air?

You should always backup your phone but OTA is no problem.

I have an iCloud and local back-up, but iTunes cannot download the update at my office (9006 error) so I thought I would just do it OTA. I rarely use iTunes these days.
