ok to interrupt filevault2 encryption process?

is it ok to interrupt filevault2 encryption process, i need to move now and don't want to wait another hour till its done... will it just resume without any problems?

No its not. You'll most likely end up with a corrupted volume

interruption has already happened, although it resumed encryption when i restarted the machine again as if all was well?

what do you recommend to do now?
