ok to "restore & update"?

Hey guys,

I'm currently on the 3g 2.0 jailbroken and would like to update to 2.1.
I'm running iTunes 8 on my Mac.

I figured it was best to restore first in iTunes but it's telling me I need to click on "restore and update".

Is this ok?

I'm assuming this will wipe the phone and update it to 2.1. Afterwords I would just need to Pwn it.

Edit: I'll just option click restore with my old apple 2.0 firmware. Sounds safer to me lol
