I have the iPhone 4S. I don't have LTE in my area, and I don't think the town I'm going to transfer to for college will have it since I'm in AT&T. Is it still worth getting?

Get it.

That's obviously the answer you want. And hey, if you are able to buy what you want, why not?

I'm spoiled no worries. Anyway continue guys.

If you're spoiled and can get whatever you want, then why not? "Is something worth it?" is very subjective and can differ drastically depending on someone's income and needs. If you're scraping by and worry how you're gonna pay the rent or provide food for your family, then iPhones, or cellphones for that matter, will never be worth "it".

The 5 is a better design IMO but does 95% of the same.. If I had to lay out any money, I wouldn't.. If you can sell the 4S and basically swap them for nothing.. then do it

Yeah I can see my 4S and get it for around $149

Then you likely do not value the money as much as someone else would so, yes. Buy it ... let the 'rents pay for things that are actually necessary. Standing on your own is absolutely overrated.

If you can sell the 4S then for $150 the Iphone 5 is an excellent deal. Besides the LTE, you get the bigger screen, better WiFi connectivity, and faster processor. I too, live in an area with no current LTE but even in this area my friends Iphone 5 still performs faster than my 4S.

Again, this recommendation is with the assumption your going to sell off your 4S...

Yeah, my parents making me work since I was 14 to buy my own things has turned out terribly. The worst I think is having personal investment in my purchases.

You said you "finally" got paid. Meaning you're not spoiled, if you were, you would have just bought it on or around release date.

Just saying... Or if you are actually spoiled, poor choice of words.

iPhone 5 + college environment = getting laid!

Bro whatca waiting for, GET IT!!! That's what college is all about,USA USA USA!!!

LTE is the biggest draw, IMO. But if money is no object (it's a ltte confusing because you said you finally got paid but also that you are spoiled, so I don't know if money is a big deal or not), why not? It's better in tons of ways (screen, speed, camera, FT HD camera, etc. ).

My sarcasm font was broken; there's no way I am serious. Fun fact: I'm not always the villain in the story.

I got your sarcasm. I agree with you too. This is one of the dumbest threads. I got paid but it doesn't matter because my parents are supporting me anyway. Why even ask the question. I respect the fact that your in college and are lucky enough to have parents help you out but really?

LOL, you just got paid and are concerned about using the money for an iPhone 5 when you have a 4S? Is this a real question?
