Okay, I'm dumb - how do you do that?

    How do you take a link to a website and make it into a word?

    This is what I mean...

    www.macrumors.com into "Go here"

    Sorry if I'm not explaining this correctly.

    use the and [/URL ] tags. You do: "Go [UR...or/createlink.gif[/img]) in your post editor.

    In the forum?

    You mean like this?

    Type in a word, highlight it, then hit the Link button and type in the link.

    If you want to learn how people have done things you can press the quote button and see.

    For example swiftaw's post above

    Here you can clearly sww how they constructed the post to get he desired effect.

    BTW I used [ noparse ] tags to convert swiftaw's post to display like it has

    Click the hyperlink button, paste the link into the box, and when you click "okay" on the box, part of your text will be highlighted and that is where you enter what you want the text to say.

    If you are trying stuff out you can also press the preview post button and it will display your post how it will appear in the forum.
