I have a simple iPhone 15.

I am 86. I have vision problems.

I have problems entering a password and duplicating it. Apple becomes suspicious and complicates the process.

Does Apple have a 'handicapped' provision equivalent to the special parking places which allow for parking when someone takes me shopping, etc.?

Can the suggestion be applied after I've stumbled trying to renew an Apple password.

It almost seems as if Apple does not want my business.

Thanks

Here's what I do:
  1. Type in the password
  2. Write it down somewhere
  3. Copy/paste it (instead of trying to type it in again) into the second field where it has to be duplicated

A couple ideas:

1. First, look at Accessibility settings. There are several under Vision. I'm thinking in particular of Zoom, Hover Text, and Display & Text Size. Read & Speak may also be helpful. (If you have someone to help you try different settings for you to choose, that would probably be helpful.)

2. Copy/paste as @ElPaso mentions is a good idea. I used to do that when creating passwords to avoid typos. EDIT: Nowadays you don't need to be entering passwords manually. You should be using the passwords app to autofill the password for you. If for some reason you have to repeat the password or enter a duplicate, maybe you can repeat the autofill process in the duplicate field, but I don't know because I don't remember having to do this with an account that already exists.

3. If you are creating a new password and have to enter it again, use the Passwords app to create and autofill the new password often automatically renters the characters in the duplate password field of you. EDIT: If the Passords app doesn't to this for some reasons, open the Passwords app and see newly created password, copy it, go back to other screen and paste into the duplicate field.
