Hi everyone,

I just noticed that 2 very old app updates (3 years old) show up in the App Store for 2 of my apps and the changelog is kind of strange because it says that it’s to support a new certificate by Apple. See here:

Does anyone have any idea what’s going on?

Thanks and best wishes :)

The old signing certificate was expiring and the apps would stop working when it expires. If the developers had provided recent updates, the newer versions would already have the new certificate but because these apps haven't gotten updates in a long time, Apple is re-signing them and because of that they'll show as updates.

Perfect, thanks for the explanation.
