Basically I have been in the Apple ecosystem for about 3years now! When I first use it, email address apple id was not required (i.e. "acdc" could be an apple id). However, not too long ago, they upgraded their system to allow only "email address apple id, acdc@whatever.com" to take full function of the iCloud services.
When I access the appleid.apple.com, there is an option for me to merge my account or unify my apple id into my primary email address. However, every time after I click submit, nothing really changes.
Anyone have any idea about this? I spoke to an Apple genius about this, she said she couldn't change my id from her end of the computer too and she doesn't have a solution.
