iPod touch old apps for old ipod?

I have an old 4th gen touch.
I'm looking for old version of skype.

my friend has it on his ipod touch 4th gen but i deleted off mine then the app got updated an no longer works.

I looked online and they say old version but link me to latest version.

is old skype still out there for 6.1.6?

I know old skype out there for android and have found APK files for android.
