I'm trying to find this game I used to play. Google has somehow failed me >.<

The game is somewhat like a simcity type game. The game takes place in space, and you start on a planet that looks like earth (with a cowboy hat....yeah...it's weird). There is also some random number of planets around you that you can venture to. You can develop weapons/ships/population/etc and take over planets to expand your 'empire' or something like that.

Any help on what it might be called, or maybe a link to where I might be able to find it would be really helpful :) Thanks

Yes, thank you. Spaceward Ho! is what it was. I just found it on that link haha. Probably less awesome than I thought it was way back when, but I'll give it a try. Thanks for all the help :)

I've found the latest version for OSX on its website, and in the news it says something like $29.95 to buy. Though if you go to the Spaceward-Ho! page here, it has a link to download for free. But again on the order page, it's $29.95.

They have a windows version for $24.95, but it's only version 4.

Also found this stating it's free to try and $39.95 to buy.

Take your pick I guess :)

Thx, I may buy it simply because cowboy hats make everything funnier.

Great find! I used to play this all the time. Think I'll download it and give it a shot again. I hope it hasn't changed too much.

Cowboy hats do make everything great, as I remember there is a great sound effect that goes with them. Plan to give this a shot again sometime today I hope, just read the updates between versions...7 years between version 4 and 5. Going to be a new to me, which is great. :)
