Old iPhone 2G complete with box worth anything?

Hi!

I've got an old iPhone 2G 8gb with the original box and all accessories, is it worth anything, pretty good condition.

But its 8gb and unlocked with all original accessories. shouldn't it be worth a lot more? I mean, some of these goes for 2000€ on Ebay.

maybe if you find a collector that will pay that? but it might be a tough sale, the only value is in it's sentiment

Yeah I have one too but alas there just is not much value to it. Like the old Apple IIe which I thought would be more, it barely goes for $100. Hang onto it and who knows in the future.

These things are mass produced. I mean I agree they should be worth more, but there's millions of them around the world.

Sentimental value is all there worth. Sadly

Looking at ebay the 2g's sell for $100-$200 in absolute mint. Asking prices are all over the shop but those are the selling prices.

You sure it's 2G and not 3G? If it's in great condition, then you could try selling it for 150$, but 100$ seems like a more likely price.

Sold a like-new 2G with box for $200. Kinda sad I sold it.

Sold mine for 480$ when the 3G came out. Yes, 480$. I'm still sad I sold my 2G, 3G, and 3GS.

This. What people put their stuff up for is in no way synonymous with what they actually sell them for.
