Old Macbook Air and ultrawide

Hi,

just sold my iMac and am shopping for an ultrawide to partner with my mid 2012 11" Air. Does anybody use a similar setup? Have googled my brains out, but can't find any information if the machine is capable of 3440x1440@60hz?

All I know is that it does at 2560x1440. But I don't know how it works with 3440x1440.

I am asking because I had the same question, I might have my eye on a curved external monitor if I don't go with an iMac, just for editing, because it's extra wide. Sigh.. so confusing.
