OLD Macbook: Change Horizontal Scrolling TO SideSwipe ?

I have an old Macbook with a trackpad that only allows a maximum of TWO FINGER scrolling/clicking.

Is there an app / hack to change Horizontal Scrolling (hardly ever used) to a version of two-finger Side Swipe?

I have Mac OS X Snow Leopard running.

most importantly...

...I'd like to enable Horizontal Scroll/SideSwipe to activate my default Command+Tab: Application Switcher OR my browser's tab-switch key.

SO ESSENTIALLY I'm looking for a hack that allows me to align my two-finger gestures to existing keyboard short cuts.
