I recently was given a new macbook and I am wondering what I can do with the old one?
I think the two things I would like to try is either TV or some sort of kitchen top computer for simple computing.

I am not sure exactly what the best route is because from my research most modifications like this cost some coin (ie. Eyetv, touchscreen) I don't want to spend the cost a new computer on modifying my old computer.

Any thoughts? Or any other good ideas?
I appreciate your help
Nick

Here's a thought...

Hook the computer to a TV in your house and use it as a computer/media center. I'm thinking you'll get the most use out of it that way and the only investment would be the cabling. You'd probably need a mini-DVI to DVI adapter, a DVI cable, and a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable depending on your TV and MacBook model. If you have a wireless keyboard and mouse, you can use it in clamshell mode from the comfy couch. -GDF
