So I uploaded old photos to iCloud so I’d have all my pictures available in one place, available on all my devices. However, a lot of the old pictures aren’t automatically being placed with in the right date. For example, all the old photos I just uploaded are showing up as the most recent photos in my library, even though the EXIF date on them is from 2011, 2010, etc. Is there any fix for this?

In all mode(albums -> all photos)with all the thumbnails it will go by added date. If you hit the bottom left icon that says Photos it was sort by date and add the location.

At least that is what works for me, plus it also works good if you want to select an entire day and one batch you can do that instead of having to click each individual some now from the other layout

Happened to me when I went on my cruise last year I had pictures on my phone that you knew the date for but then I threw in pictures from my go Pro that were done in between and that’s how it was able to sort it properly so just use the other view mode which is the photo icon on the left
