Old Time Capsule Seagate Barracuda 500gb Hard Drive?

Hi,

I have an old Old Time Capsule Seagate Barracuda 500gb Hard Drive, but my windows computer won't recognize it, I have google'd for quite a while now with no help :-(

Is it possible to remove the Time Capsule partition?

If so, How ?

You simply need to reformat the drive as NTFS rather than HFS+

Can you mount it in either Disk Utility (Mac) or Disk Management (Windows)?

You can format it using Disk Management in Windows by selecting it and right clicking and choosing "Format..."

Or you could mount it on your Mac and format it as FAT32 in Disk Utility. Then you can connect it to your Windows computer and format it NTFS.
