Older Apps on iPhone X: App Compatibility Notch Overlap / Zoomed Out Mode

Does any know how what apps will look like on the iPhone X that are not updated specifically for iPhone X? Do they do display in iPhone 5 resolution, or fully zoomed using native resolution (while obstructing the top portion covered by the notch)?

can't say for sure but i would imagine apps that are not optimized for the X will fall within the 1080 x 1920 area in the center of the display as that would match the resolution of the iPhone Plus phones.
