It appears that all of the older models that were being sold before the announcement have gone up in price. I bought the iPhone 17e a few months ago for $599. Now it’s $699. Even worse, the price of the iPhone 16 has gone up. How can Apple justify charging $799 for an iPhone 16 with 128 GB of storage? What are your plans for upgrading (or not)?

....we also raised all of the prices of the existng iPhones on our website just now.
Yes, I saw that my Air was $100 more now than when I got it last year. It's appreciated in price so that's good thing, for ME.

And don't forget they raised prices on all Mac products.
Glad I got my Neo for $499 (EDU).

$100 increases across the board for all iPhones is nuts. I guess that’s how Apple kept the price of the 18 Pro’s down but it sucks for the lower end consumer. The cheapest iPhone is now almost $700!

Knew this was happening when the Neo went up $100 a month after it launched.

At least my 2 Neos have gone up in value since I bought it at $499 each.

What will best buy do since the air is listed for 750 and some 3rd party businesses list for under 700?

If they raise the price I doubt it will sell.

EDIT: They raised the price 100 bucks..

It won't end well.

I actually thought they would just hold their prior pricing. Historically older ones (still sold by apple) would drop by $100.

I mean, Apple increased prices on their 18 month old iPad, 4 year old Apple TV, and 6 year old HomePod Mini.

The hikes on iPhone was a matter of how much, not if.
