Actually, I just have a simple question..ce

Is the OLED glass on the iPhone X less scratch resistant than the iPhone 7 plus LCD glass? Same resistance, less resistant or supposedly more resistant as I am seeing conflicting stories and anecdotes.

No matter how much stronger you make the glass on the new phones, remember glass always break and always suspectable to scratches. It is glass and not sapphire like the watches. While sapphire will not scratch unless met with something equally hard or harder, any glass can scratch no matter how strong it is.

There's no way to accurately measure the durability of the glass on the iPhone X. Every situation will vary and it depends on what the glass is subjected to cause the scratch. Others have stated on here that they have no scratches at all on their iPhone X without the use of a screen protector and others have stated theirs has scratches without even hardly using it at all. It's all about prevention, which a screen protector is recommended by some and others accept the risk without the use of a screen protector.

It isn't OLED glass. The screen is made in layers with clear glue between layers. One layer is the OLED screen, another the 3dtouch, and on top is probably gorilla Glass.
