Naw, the best TNG episodes clearly were the ones where Welsley was the focus. Just pick one.

Yeah, happens for me too. It reminds me of Best of Both Worlds Pt. 1 where Picard pans to the camera and his ominous red Borg implant is shining through the mist. Then the camera slowly zooms in on Riker’s face. “Mister Worf!” he gulps, knowing the next order will mean the death of Picard. “FIRE!” And slowly, “To be continued” comes on the screen, with the orchestra screaming a thunderous staccato.

The ultimate cliffhanger! Back in that era I used to work behind the scenes at a TV station. While we didn't air ST:TNG, somehow one of the tape techs got hold of a VHS copy of Part II about two weeks before its official air date. He might have pulled it off a satellite feed or possibly just knew someone who worked on the show, I never asked. So of course I borrowed the VHS tape and watched it well before everyone else. Best part though: a total Star Trek geek lived in my apartment building -- his apt door was decorated in memorabilia and his car had stickers on it. I never knew or even met the guy, but after I'd watched Part II a few times I left the unmarked VHS tape leaning up against his apt door. I always imagine what he must've thought when he popped it into his VHS machine and Part II started playing more than a week before its first broadcast. LOL!

That’s an amazing story! Wow, I can’t begin to imagine what their reaction was.
