Nope, I have green in Seattle where people don't talk LOL!!

ahhhh, sadly, everyone cares..even if they don't say...

That’s what it was! I was in Seattle in June. I knew there was something that seemed off. It’s not that the people are unfriendly, but I noticed the people there don’t talk a lot or are just more quiet in general.

I disagree, I actually like the cameras on the gold.:p

I got the gold color after seeing it in person. I wanted midnight green but then I saw gold and said yep that's my color.

And it was available for the first 3 days when the other colors were sold out

Yeah they are ! Or who knows what lol!!

I’ve never owned a smartphone that got noticed as much as my silver Pro Max. The cameras really stand out against the light color.

Why is this even a post? Chill we get you got the new iPhone.

Aaaaannnd you missed the point of a light-hearted, joking thread. Next time, click the back arrow or the ‘iPhone’ labeled link to be taken out of topics of no interest to you. I do it all the time.
No one I know here in Chicago cares.

Corrected for you. I’m in Chicago as well - half of my experiences have been right here (city, ‘burbs, and at ORD).

Imagine how noticed YOU would be if you had three eyes! People would constantly stop you on the street and point.

Well... I understand the point you’re trying to make, but the people who asked were genuinely interested in the cameras and other features of the phone.

The fact of the matter is, Apple is marketing the hell out of the Pro. People see the ads and the cameras are quite different from what they’re used to.

I don’t think any of us in this thread are waving the phone around asking for attention, but we just found it interesting how much the Pro apparently stands out from previous iPhones. It’s definitely not that serious.

Have a nice day!

Didn’t think you were waving it around. Three people have asked about my Pro as the cameras peak out above my shirt pocket.

Actual point was a combined joke along with notation of how unusual three camera are presently. I suspect with a year or so when most every phone gets three cameras, it won’t be as often noticed.

Be well and enjoy the phone.

I was stopped by the Police and the officer asked me to show my new phone :) Really nobody cares. May be I'm wrong.
..... The guy came with foldable Samsung Note , everybody wanted to see it.

I like my new 11 pro max 512, upgraded from XS Max 512. Battery life, camera. What I really like first time I got the phone without any problems

Now that’s intense.......you know why I pulled you over? Is that the new iPhone?
LOL
Hope you weren’t using it as you drove.
🙀

I was troubleshooting a wireless access point and had to pull out my personal Pro to test the guest network since all of the state issued devices automatically connect to our Mobile network and the woman who I was assisting noticed the triple camera and asked how I was liking it.

This is the first time since the X that I've had someone say something or ask about my phone so it's definitely getting noticed.

The only time I've ever gotten a lot of attention from strangers over having an iPhone was with the first one. That's it. Got a lot of attention for that one.

Why would you want people to notice just because you have a new toy? Personally, I go to great lengths to not show what I am using. A good way to not get mugged.

Good point, but I think mugger could pick almost anyone 11 or older and get some phone these days. Now tech savvy mugger might go shopping.
I tend to mitigate successful mugging with other device I carry on opposite hip. Plus helps balance side to side weight.

Thinking about it, same situation. Last time anyone cared to ask was at the iPhone beginning.

Looks as if something has renewed interest again. Advertising more effective this year? Or maybe people perceiving 11 Pro phones as significant improvement?

Sort of interesting actually.

I haven’t had a stranger notice since iPhone 1.
Friends would notice up to the 3G. When iPhone became available on other carriers I think most people stopped noticing because they had one.

I went Space Gray *because* I didn't like the 3 cameras sticking out of a flashy background! - especially since I'm a bit more of a photography enthusiast, I don't want the silver/gold reflectivity against windows showing in my shots.

To each their own though, I'm glad some folks out there can embrace their inner-flash (so to speak)! Hahaa
